2. Where Our Lead Data Comes From

The opportunities we deliver are built from publicly available information from official and public sources, including:

• Gov.uk - Companies House register (new business and company data), the Probate Registry grant register, and planning application portals.
• UK property portals - for Sold Subject to Contract (SSTC) moving signals.
• Contracts Finder / Find a Tender - public-sector tender notices.

Because this data is derived from public registers, we are not the original source of the personal data. Every opportunity carries its source link where available, so you can verify it yourself.

3. Lawful Bases

We process personal data under the following lawful bases under UK GDPR:

• Legitimate interests - providing our subscribers with a lead generation service based on public data, and operating/improving our platform.
• Contract performance - delivering the service, emails and dashboard access you subscribe to.
• Consent - where we send marketing communications (withdrawable at any time).
• Legal obligation - where required by law.

4. How You Should Use the Data

As a 9amLeads subscriber, you are responsible for how you use the opportunities we provide. You must:

• Only contact individuals for legitimate business purposes, in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the ICO's direct marketing guidance.
• Not use the data for spam, harassment, or any purpose that would be unlawful.
• Handle any personal data in your CRM in line with GDPR principles - including keeping it accurate and not retaining it longer than necessary.
• Honour any opt-out or objection requests promptly.

5. Data We Collect About Customers

When you create an account we collect your name, company name, email, phone, billing details and target areas. We also collect usage data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) to operate and improve the service and prevent fraud.

6. Print & Post and Data Sharing

When you use our optional Print & Post service, the recipient name and address are shared with our print/postal provider (Stannp) solely to fulfil your mailing. We never sell your data or your leads to third parties for marketing.

7. Security

We protect data with industry-standard measures including TLS/SSL encryption in transit, secure storage, access controls and regular backups. See our Security page for details.

8. Data Retention

We retain account and lead data only as long as necessary to provide the service and meet legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectify inaccurate data.
• Erase your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Restrict or object to processing.
• Data portability.
